The tablet press machine is mainly used for the tablet process research in the pharmaceutical industry. It is an automatic continuous production equipment for pressing granules into round, special-shaped and tablets with text, symbols and graphics with a diameter of no more than 13mm. The punches and dies of the tablet press are under a lot of pressure during the tablet pressing process. They are usually made of bearing steel and heat-treated to increase their hardness. There are many types of punches, and the shape of the punch depends on the desired shape of the tablet. According to the shape of the die structure, it can be divided into circular and special-shaped; the shape of the punch section is flat, hypotenuse, shallow concave, deep concave and comprehensive. Plane and hypotenuse punches are used for pressing flat cylindrical tablets, shallow concave punches are used for pressing biconvex tablets, deep concave punches are mainly used for pressing the core of coated tablets, and composite punches are mainly used for pressing Shaped sheet. In order to facilitate the identification and taking of medicines, the name of the medicine, dosage and vertical and horizontal lines can also be engraved on the end face of the die. To compress tablets of different doses, dies of suitable size should be selected.

In addition, the upper punch of the turntable of the tablet press has requirements on the structure of the tablet press. The higher requirements on the die are because the upper punch needs to be equipped with a directional key, which is coordinated with the upper punch of the turntable during the installation process. . The lower punch does not leave the middle die hole during the working process, and no other processing is required. Pressing tablets with a special-shaped die cannot rotate freely, but moves up and down along the upper and lower guide rails. Driven by the turntable, the punch and guide rails have sliding friction, so that the punch and guide rails wear each other.

During the use of the tablet press, it is necessary to check the machine parts regularly, 1-2 times a month. The inspection items are whether the worm gear, worm, bearing, pressure wheel, crankshaft, upper and lower rail guides, etc. are flexible and wearable. , If defects are found, they should be repaired and used in time.

After one use or shutdown, the remaining powder should be taken out, and the remaining powder on all parts of the machine should be cleaned. If it is not used for a long time, all the dies must be removed, and the machine must be wiped clean. The smooth surface of the parts is coated with anti-rust oil and covered with a cloth to facilitate the next use.

The maintenance of the punching die should be placed in the box, so that the punching die is completely immersed in the oil, and it must be kept clean to avoid rust and scratches. The box can be customized and packed in each specification, which can avoid wrong loading and damage during use. Helps to understand the defect situation.

The place of use should be cleaned frequently, especially for the manufacture of medicine and edible tablets, dust and flying dust should not exist.

Electrical components should pay attention to the working environment conditions, such as temperature, humidity, etc. In a good environment, the service life of the components will be extended. Pay attention to regular maintenance and inspection to keep it in good running condition. The cooling fan should regularly use compressed air to remove accumulated dust.
